Pinar del Río: casa de  Luciel Gómez Ascot. A las afueras de la ciudad, dispone de dos cómodas y limpias habitaciones totalmente climatizadas y amuebladas, baño con agua caliente todo el día, entre otras comodidades. El precio de la habitación doble es 20 cuc, los desayunos están incluidos en el precio. Te brindan la posibilidad de recogerte en el Aeropuerto Internacional José Martí (La Habana). Soroa (Pinar del Río): casa de Mima Lala. Situada por la carretera "8 vías" -autopista- (La Habana a Pinar, hacia mita de camino) y tomar la salida que pone: Candelaria/Soroa, en dirección a Soroa. La casa de "Mima Lala" está a unos 5 kilómetros, a mano derecha, en una zona conocida como Finca La Flora. Preguntar por Virginia, Rolando o Aurora (Mima Lala). Teléfono 529-42039. Son gente amable y los servicios que brindan son baratos. Alquila una habitación con baño privada, con aire acondicionado, equipo de música, agua caliente, terraza y aparcamiento de coche, por 25 a  30 cuc por noche. Se alquila habitaciones en casa que se encuentra ubicada en un lugar céntrico de la localidad, situado a entre Las Tunas y Camagüey. Sitio ideal para quienes vienen conociendo el interior de la isla, desde aquí tomas la carretera que conduce a Cayo Coco y otros cayos del norte de la isla. El precio es 30 cuc para dos personas. Bueno es tener un médico y en casa para cualquier contratiempo y máxime si es agradable, servicial y habla inglés y se defiende en francés. (I).
La Habana: casa de Reymond Pardo Jiménez, alquila dos habitaciones en una casa colonial en el centro histórico de La Habana Vieja. La casa dispone de gran salón y terraza de la que podrás disfrutar. Habitaciones simples y dobles, con precios de 25 cuc o 20 si la estancia supera los 3 días. También, se ofrecen desayunos, comidas y ayuda necesaria para moverse por la ciudad y la isla. Cuenta con sala con televisión, video, teléfono y demás comodidades. La habitación, con una cama doble y otra individual para un menor, dispone de aire acondicionado y baño moderno con bañera y agua caliente. Alquilan dos habitaciones (una con cama doble y la otra con dos camas de tres cuartos) con aire acondicionado y baños privados, así como con sala con todas las comodidades (televisión, teléfono, cd player y video). El precio de la habitación es 25 cuc y te ofrecen también desayunos (3 cuc) y comidas. Disponen de pequeña página en Internet (I).

La Habana: casa de Nancy Ayala, en calle Cienfuegos 17, Bajos, entre calles Monte y Corrales, Habana Vieja, muy cerca del Capitolio y otros lugares de interés turístico. Lugar moderno con total seguridad y privacidad. Alquilan dos habitaciones dobles por 30 cuc/cada una. A sólo 5 minutos del Paseo del Prado, el Capitolio Nacional, la calle Obispo y la Plaza de Armas. Alquilan dos habitaciones, una con baño y la otra simple. El precio de la habitación es 25 cuc. Además, te ofrecen almuerzos cubanos por 10 cuc y los desayunos por 3, con mucha fruta, jugos, pan y buen café. El trato es agradable y son fantásticos amigos. (I)

Cerca de la Habana Vieja y a casi 5 cuadras del Malecón. Te ofrecen habitación doble, baño privado con agua caliente, refrigerador y pequeña terraza interior. TV, aire acondicionado, etc. Precio 25 cuc la habitación para dos personas, pero site hospedas por 20 días o más te cobran 20 por día, con desayuno incluido. También, ofrecen por encargo comidas, a precios módicos. Este sitio es ideal para quienes vienen a recibir la atención del Dr. Lino Tomasén, médico que cura con sus manos y tiene su consultorio a unos 100 metros. (P).
La Habana: Casa Colonial de Melecio y Beatriz, avenida 11, nº 4415, entre calles 44 y 46, Miramar. Teléfono: 206-6289. A 7 cuadras del hotel Copacabana y a pocos metros del mejor restaurante particular de la ciudad. Te ofrecen dos habitaciones, una en bajos y la otra en altos, cada una con aire acondicionado, excelentes condiciones y baño privado. Puedes disfrutar de la terraza al fondo de la casa, con fuentes de agua, acuario y jardines. Te ofrecen por encargo desayuno y comidas. Precio entre 40 y 35 cuc por habitación para dos personas. (P).

La Habana: casa del señor Roberto, en el mismo edificio que la que aparece como la señora Eugenia, en Paseo nº 126, pero en el piso 13, en Vedado. El teléfono también es el 830-5160. Alquila apartamento independiente, con baño de agua caliente, refrigerador, aire acondicionado y televisor en la habitación. Se oferta servicio de gastronomía o bien cocina tú mismo. El precio oscila entre los 30 y 35 cuc, según temporada. Te ofrece zumo de frutas o café, después del paseo, por cuenta de la casa. Ambiente familiar, gente muy amable y encantadora. (P).
 

A través de Internet puedes alquilar en La Habana desde Tu Cuevita u optar entre la treintena de casas que te ofrece Confort, disfrutar de habitaciones dobles en Vedado en La Superabuela. Cubatrip te ofrece alojamiento privado (casa particular, apartamentos o habitaciones) desde 18 cuc. Uno más en la zona de Miramar es la casa de Gina, con muchos extras, o si lo prefieres puedes alquilar en la Avenida Paseo. Havanarentals te alquila mansiones en la capital, algunas de ellas con piscina.
Otra posibilidad es contratar el hospedaje en La Habana y Varadero a través de correo electrónico con Travelnet, empresa creada en 1989 por empresarios europeos.
Si embargo, no todas la páginas donde se anuncian varios hospedajes cobran comisión a sus propietarios por llevarles clientes, como la de Marcos, residente en Canadá y que de forma altruista incluye un buen número de casas por todo el país.
